Carlyn MaddenBy Carlyn Madden, YNPNdc Board Member; Program Associate, The Morris and Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation

Calling all WG Daily subscribers: The Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Washington, DC (YNPNdc) needs your help with its annual membership survey! We need to encourage last minute participation from the region’s young nonprofit employees. If you’re a grantmaker, please forward this survey to your grantees. If you’re part of the broader nonprofit community, please forward this survey to your employees and affiliated nonprofit networks:

http://www.zoomerang.com/Survey/?p=WEB22A95WQDRDR

This brief survey should take less than 15 minutes to complete and ends on Friday, February 26th. Participants can enter their contact information on the final page to be eligible for one of ten $25 Target gift cards.

YNPNdc logoFounded in 2003, YNPNdc engages its membership of almost 6,000 young professionals through educational, networking and advocacy resources. For us, “young” constitutes anyone self-identifying as a young professional. With over 50 workshops and events a year, YNPNdc programming serves anyone from interns to executive directors.

The YNPN national movement has strong roots in the region and benefits from both research and grants from Washington Grantmakers members Annie E. Casey Foundation and the Eugene and Agnes E. Meyer Foundation. These research recommendations complement survey data and are used to craft future offerings to attract and retain the next generation of nonprofit leadership.

We truly appreciate your help spreading the word. If you have any questions about the survey or would like to get involved in YNPNdc, please let me know.
